Nakia Dawkins - Henna Tattoo Artist

I originally discovered henna approximately 13 years ago, and was intrigued by this unique and lovely art form. I have spent several years researching Mehendi, experimenting with designs and enjoying the vast body of information available.

My Mehendi mentor is from India and shared with me the wisdom gained by years of doing Mehendi. I do parties, events, ceremonial and personal sessions. Being holistic, it is imperative to me that the ingredients used in my henna are pure and natural with no artificial chemicals.

Because of this, I make my own paste using fresh, natural ingredients. My desire is for each client to take away from the experience a feeling of loveliness, pride and joy, experience exquisite Mehendi, experience Ancient Art Henna.

Serves: Austin, TX and surrounding areas of Texas. Will travel.

Rate: $150/hour with a two hour minimum.

Speed: Nakia can do 15 to 20 designs per hour, depending on the level of complexity
