Deborah Brommer - Henna Tattoo Artist
I am a Natural Henna Artist in Columbus, Ohio, with certification from the International Certification of Natural Henna Artists. I have a BFA from Ohio University, and have been using henna as my medium since 2000. I became enthralled with henna as body art when I went to Morocco to visit my sister while she was serving in the Peace Corps. Each time I went to visit her I had henna done and learned more. I have since done considerable research on the history and culture surrounding this beautiful art.
I mix my own paste with 100% henna powder, to which I add lemon juice, some tea tree oil, geranium oil (for scent), and sugar as a binder. All of my designs are done free hand with cones or with Jacquard bottles, I never use stencils or transfers. I am proficient in Indian, Middle Eastern, North African as well as contemporary designs.

Serves: Columbus, OH and 40 minutes out into the surrounding area.
Rate: $150/hour with a two hour minimum.
Speed: approximately 15 tattoos an hour.
