A woman of diverse talents, Sunshower is sometimes referred to as Multi Dimensional.
Canadian born, and with 26 years in California, she “migrated” to Sedona, Arizona in 1987. In her ninth month of residency, she won the Arizona statewide contest for the official City Logo, as the town of Sedona formally entered her “city-hood”. Thus, her artwork has immortalized her there. Every official City of Sedona document bears this design – and always will. This momentous occasion unwittingly launched an accelerated pace of publicity for her, as the name of Sunshower became more and more “out there”! (She relishes in the fact that even the City Fathers were obliged to recognize that the official City seal was created by this relatively new resident whose name is Sunshower.)
Sunshower is an extroverted, humorous artist, who loves a spirited crowd. It's fun to watch as she draws caricatures at events or paints dancers (on stage) with live music to accompany – what she calls “Art Concerts”.
Degreed in Fine Art, this female artist offers a lot of upbeat wit and humor at events. Her illustrative and painterly gifts have added beauty to many homes and institutions over the years.
