Nelson Santos describes himself as a self taught artist who learned about drawing and caricatures from watching others draw. His caricature career began in 1999 in an animation studio where Nelson worked at the time and would always draw caricatures and sketches of his friends. |

A call came in for a caricature artist at a convention for a company trying to promote a new brand of organic shampoo (which nelson later discovered he was allergic to.) During this period the caricature bug really took a big bite out Nelson. One artist that has been inspirational to him is Jan Opdebeeck. |

He has plunged headfirst into the caricature business and can be found drawing caricatures somewhere every week. Nelson also does studio caricatures and illustration in his spare time. |

- color body/gag: 5-6/hour

US $200 per hour with a two hour minimum.
