Award winning caricaturist and nationally published illustrator Christopher Rommel has been drawing ever since he was old enough to hold a pencil.  His enrollment at two state universities and one major art college educated him in a variety of art concentrations, including Graphic Design, Character Animation and Illustration. Chris graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire during the spring of 1999.  He began his career as a professional caricaturist during the summer of 1998, when he applied for a summer job as a caricaturist at Valleyfair Theme Park in Shakopee, Minnesota. He received hands-on training and quickly developed the technical skills involved with drawing and airbrushing live caricatures.  Since then, Chris has personally drawn thousands of caricatures at hundreds of locations while working at amusement parks, fairs, malls, corporate events and private parties.  He estimates drawing at least 25,000 live caricatures!
	Currently, Chris Rommel resides in Eau Claire, Wisconsin and works primarily as a party caricaturist at events in both Wisconsin and Minnesota.  His ability to skillfully capture a humorous likeness of each individual has clients requesting him to return for many annual events.

In addition, Chris is beginning a career as a freelance illustrator, where his caricatures can be seen in nationally published magazines such as Playboy Magazine.  His main career goal is to keep improving as a caricaturist by continuing his dedication towards making quality artwork with every single caricature that he draws.
