Chris Metzger's first drawings were similar to the cave paintings seen in La grotte Chauvet-Pont-d'Arc, but instead of cave walls they were done on house walls and before Chris discovered paint he discovered red chapstick. After receiving a severe reprimand Chris exchanged chapstick for a pencil and house walls for paper. He has been drawing ever since.
Chris received formal art training at Edinboro University of PA. While at Edinboro Chris received his BFA in applied Media arts. After college Chris put the notebooks and texts on a shelf and dove headfirst into the world of caricature.
Chris has drawn at Cedar Point in Sandusky, OH and at Sea World Adventure Park in Orlando, FL. Chris was trained by Ryan Holman, a phenomenally talented artist, who will one day be our future president. During his time drawing retail caricatures Chris worked along side of many of today's finest artists. The list includes Loy Bouttamy, Joe Bluhm, Dino Casterline, Dion Socia, Kevin Reuter, Dan Hay, Mike Hasson, Nate Graham, Brad Rosier, Ken Knafou, Jerry Gaylord, and some other guys that draw pretty good.

Washington D.C., Baltimore, Greater Metropolitan area, Maryland, and some parts of Pennsylvania upon request. Will travel!
Speeds:
- b&w heads only: 10-15/hour
- b&w body/gag:8-11/hour
- color heads only: 7-10/hour
- color body/gag: 5-7/hour
Rate:
$125/hour with a two hour minimum
