Shannon Bird has been drawing her whole life, ever since she was a child. Although she didn't start off drawing caricatures, She remembers always being facsinated by them and thinking that it would be so cool to draw them for a living. So, a little after college She decided to apply to Six Flags Marine World to be a caricature artist full time.

Despite walking barefoot to her interview(since the 4 inch heels she was wearing decided to fall apart the second she got out of the car), she got the job. She was very lucky to be trained by Rene Pulido, one of the best caricature artists out there. She has since developed a style all of her own and has been drawing caricatures, as well as many other art forms as her full time job. Shannon travels all California over and feels very blessed to be able to do something she loves as a living.

- B&W Bodies: about 10/hr
Rate:
$175/hour with a 2 hour minimum.
